The name Que je luise

Hvad betyder Que je luise? Ja, det har faktisk ikke noget med mit navn at gøre - ud over det staves ens. Sætningen er en fransk bøjning af "At skinne" - og er sådan en bøjning man ikke bruger i specielt meget, og som ikke findes på dansk, men da mit navn indgik i denne bøjning synes jeg det passede fint til et mærke-navn. Jeg vil gerne have at kvinder i mit design føler at de skinner :-)



What does the sentence Que je luise actually means? Well, it has nothing to do with my name - though it's spelled the same way. The sentence is a french inflection of "to shine" - and is one of those inflections that isn't used that often and does not exist in danish, but because my name is a part of the inflection I think it is a good brand-name. Plus I will like women who wear my swimwear to feel like they are shining :-)

In the ELLE Magazine - the august 2014 edition - Que je luise swimwear was shown with the words: "Enjoy the late summer in the garden in some retro cool swimwear - or use it together  with a pair of denim shorts when you will pick up icecream".
